Virtual Retreat Sunday (plus house updates)
Come for a live movement practice and inspiring discussion!
This week Emma sent me a picture of her notes from our first session together in January 2021. A bubble map pinning eleven different intentions for our work together, with an emphasis on letting go and seeking physical healing. She was one of my first clients ever after I discerned a call to spiritual companionship. Our relationship was foundational to my own learning process; learning how to really listen, how to hold unconditional space, how to trust the sensation in my body as wisdom from a higher dimension. I think it was a rich sojourn for both of us.
Since then, Emma has gone on to establish The Prayer Orchard, an online movement and contemplative prayer community aimed toward “nurturing our inner world and awakening to the reality and depth of connection to God that is available to us.” Emma stewards her community with weekly movement classes and prayer times, and every season she offers a virtual retreat. This spring, she invited me to share about a powerful image I received which has taught me the meaning of Co-Creation for those of us wishing to assume our birthright as co-heirs with Christ.
In our shared time this Sunday, we will explore the wisdom of my vision alongside the wisdom of the natural seasons and the mystery of Jesus’ journey to the cross. With God’s help, I’ll braid these three strands into an inspiring tapestry of hope and possibility for our individual and collective manifestation of God’s will on earth. No big deal! 🙃 Emma will also guide us in a contemplative movement practice to prepare our beings to receive what’s meant for us. All in all, we plan to provide you with a soft, open space for discerning your way forward with, in, as, and through God.
We’d sincerely love to have you! We’re meeting at 11 am eastern time, 8 am pacific for two hours and the cost is about $22 depending on today’s exact conversion rate between English pounds and US dollars.
Meanwhile, updates to our house began in a bigger way this week! Look at this bookshelf I had installed. This is not my wall, but we replicated the bookshelf almost exactly, even down to the pewter tracks. Visioning for how to make this place ours has helped me articulate my taste in new ways. Bottom line: vintage forever.
Here’s some of my favorite pinterest inspiration for our kitchen! Can anyone say copper pot? Thankfully I have the set my parent’s received at their wedding… 44 years ago!
Okay folks, that’s all for today. I love you, I’d love to see you Sunday, and I pray your own belovedness greets you in a visceral way this coming week.
